Hygentii Mermaid in Costume

Plutonium has a few posts about the mermaids. They are mythological sea creatures who supposedly ruled the high seas for a period of ancient times. But, today, research shows mermaids are a combination of a few delusions, fantasies, and Goetia personality disorders.
In the photo found at Tumblr.com, the mermaid is an actress portraying the live of the famed sea nymth. As a publicity photo, the creature needs to be displayed in it's mythology as well as the life longevity of this beast.
In the photo gallery on the right side palette is a photo of an Oar Fish. That is about what the pirate sailors seen when talking of the aged mermaids. The stories of the mermaids became so intensely popular in the USA because of the land bound pirates sometimes referred to as Christians, Jews, and Muslims who told and retold the tales of a mermaid's sea faring adventures. Great Britian, Iran, and the Caribbean Islands have the greatest number of stories about the mermaid, both fictional and Goetia.
